The mission of Vending Outreach Inc. is to reach out to the woman and children who have been burdened with an unfortunate event and are dealing with a tragedy, an illness, or a hardship, and need a helping hand.

Below are a a few examples of how we have helped or can help. The contents of theses examples can be duplicated to help many causes and that is exactly why Vending Outreach Inc. was created, to help where we can. We will be here to offer them any services that we can provide and provide them with any help they need to get those services from others.

Example
Mrs. Jones had a child that has cancer and needs treatment. One of the larger, specialized organizations has taken care of the cancer treatments and although this is a tremendous thing they are doing, they only pay for the treatment.
The problem: The larger charity organizations don't assist with the many hardships that are created when tragedies like this happen. Mrs. Jones still needed to pay for everything else. She needed to pay for transportation to get to the treatment center. She needed to pay for hotel accommodations because the treatment center was to far away to commute every day. She needed someone to watch her house and keep the maintenance up while she was away. Her pets would have to be cared for. And she needed help paying bills.
The solution: A vendor involved in our Outreach Label Project from Mrs. Jones' community contacted Vending Outreach Inc. and made us aware of her situation. We immediately started taking the steps to help resolve her problems. The first thing we did was arrange to have the pets taken care of and next was to help with the arrangements to have her house watched and maintained. After successfully taking care of those problems, we started working on the others by contacting local agencies, churches, and other charities that could also lend a helping hand. Through the gracious help of those other agencies we only needed to help Mrs. Jones with her monthly bills. We contacted the vendor and with the use of his business contacts and community involvement, we coordinated several local fundraiser's. Vending Outreach Inc. provided all of the money and materials to make the fundraiser's successful and through the efforts of everyone involved we were able to help Mrs. Jones continue to be a supporting part in her child's recovery from cancer.
Conclusion:Vending Outreach Inc. has the resources and is better equipped to assist with those tasks that are not included in the larger specialized organization's assistance programs. We pride ourselves on being able to coordinate and resolve so many issues that accompany the hardships attributed to so many tragedies. Because of our involvement Mrs. Jones was able to concentrate on the more important issue, her son's recovery.

Example
A girl just found out that her mother had Breast Cancer. The clinic where they discovered the bad news had already given her Mom a list of agencies that help women with breast cancer and these agencies would help with some of the expenses.
The problem: Many organizations won't cover all of the costs associated with most tragedies. Her mom had no health insurance and was going to have to take off from work. They needed money to help pay for the treatments, the surgery, and living expenses.
The solution: The girl then contacted Vending Outreach Inc. She got our contact information from one of our Outreach Project Labels that was placed on one of our participating vendor's candy machine where she worked. Vending Outreach told her we could help by coordinating and paying for some fundraiser's. We immediately contacted the girls employer, her Mom's employer, and the vendor to see if they would like to also participate. Everyone agreed and we began to help. We supplied the vendor with handouts, signs, and donation cans. The signs and handouts were used to tell everyone about the fundraiser and the donation cans were used to raise money. The vendor also asked for donations from the businesses that had his machines.
The girls, and her mom's employer, both agreed to help host a fundraiser each. Vending Outreach Inc. helped coordinate the fund raisers and also helped to pay for the food and entertainment at the event. Everything was successful and this is how we were able to help.
Conclusion: When a tragedy occurs it is the support and comfort from the people and the businesses of that community that makes the hardships more manageable and the tragedy less painful. Vending Outreach Inc. lends its support by helping coordinate those wishing to help in the support. Sometimes it is just a matter of letting the community know that someone needs help. Our involvement helped make Mrs. Jones' recovery more affordable and less stressful. It also gave her daughter comfort knowing her Mom was going to get the help she needed.

Example
Mrs. Smith lost her job due to the company going out of business. She was a single mother with two children and needed some temporary assistance until she got another job.
Problem: Her unemployment benefits would not cover all of her expenses and her company offered no severance package. She needed to earn extra money to make up the difference until she got another job.
Solution: Fortunately for Mrs. Smith, Vending Outreach Inc. has a program that was specifically designed to help when something like this occurs. The program is called Route Runners and the reason for it's success is because of vendors. Vendors throughout the United States have donated vending machines to our organization and we use them to give people like Mrs. Smith an opportunity to temporarily supplement their income. Our volunteers find locations for these machines and those in the program, like Mrs. Smith, service them and earn an income.
Conclusion: Vending Outreach Inc. gave Mrs. Smith the opportunity to help herself and this extra income eased her financial hardship and the time it took to service the machines didn't interfere with her job hunting. She was able to pay her bills and she felt good she was getting a helping hand, not a hand out. These machines continue to help the causes and those individuals we support.

Example
Natural disasters create tragedies beyond comprehension. Immediately children can become homeless, hungry, and missing. Some lose their parents, get neglected, and end up becoming victims of abuse.
Problem: Disasters destroy infrastructures, communications, and essential supplies. Order and law become chaos and mayhem. The strong prey on the weak and the children become a target of abuse. There is never enough help.
Solution: The first thing that needs to be restored in a disaster is order. Once order is restored and structure and direction are in place, Vending Outreach Inc.can help where we are needed. We will act in the capacity of a supporting charity with the mission of helping the children and will get our directions from the coordinating organization.
Conclusion: Vending Outreach Inc. can better serve the victims of a disaster by helping those organizations that are coordinating the restoration of order and is in charge of support distribution. Organizations that choose to act independently and refuse to follow order and direction add to the confusion and chaos. It is amongst this confusion that the children are becoming victims and we are losing them to abuse

Example
The United States is engaged in two wars and there are many brave men and women miles away away from home fighting for our safety and freedom. Being away from their loved ones is a sacrifice theses soldiers, their families, and their children make every day. And when these brave parents pay the ultimate price, so do the children. A child should not have to bear the weight of the loss of a parent alone.
Problem: Many times after the respects are paid and the parades are finished, these families and children of these brave soldiers are soon forgotten. So many times we forget the sacrifices these families also made and the price they paid. The loss of a parent can have an everlasting effect on a child and its consenquences could alter the course of their future.
Solution: Vending Outreach Inc.has developed two program to thank our brave men and women of our armed forces. Our Card Of Thanks program which thanks the soldiers for the sacrificices they are making for us now and our Heroes Candle program which thanks them after they have left us. All of the money collected from these programs go toward our troops and their families. We use the money from the Card Of Thanks program to send items to the soldiers that will make them feel less homesick. The money from the Heroes Candle program is used to help better the future of their children.
Conclusion: Everybody should thank our veterans, our soldiers, and their families for the sacrifices they are making and have made. Vending Outreach Inc.thanks all those who ar serving and have served and we continue to thank those who have made the ultimate sacrifiice by helping take to care of their children. The ultimate sacrifice of a soldier is also shared by their child. A loss too much to ask a child to burden alone. The parent sacrificed themselves for us and we can say thank you by helping to carry on what they are no longer here to do. The hero we just met is the hero they've always known.

Vending Outreach Inc. through the help you, of our other, donors and vendors, will continue to do the good work of helping those who need us.
Thank you to our soldiers, our veterans, and their families.
Thank you to all of those that are helping us help them.
